Bungalows
Satara Rest Camp bungalows can sleep 2 or 3 guests. There are 75 x 2 or 3 bed units sharing a communal kitchen. These bungalows are equipped with a bathroom fitted with a shower. A number of limited fully equipped utensil boxes (crockery, cutlery, frying pan, and glasses) are available for hire. Each bungalow is fully air-conditioned.
Alternatively, stay in 1 of the 57 x 2 or 3 bed units each fitted with a kitchen. Additional facilities include a bathroom fitted with a shower and air-conditioning. There is also 1 luxury bungalow available fitted with 2 beds and a sleeper couch.
Another 19 bungalows sleeping 2 guests each are available. These bungalows are situated on the perimeter fence and boast a view over the African bush. Each bungalow has an en-suite bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a cooker top, combination fridge/freezer, cutlery, crockery, and utensils.
Guest Houses
For visitors that prefer luxury Kruger lodging, Satara Rest Camp offers 3 spacious guesthouses, the 10-bedded Frankel guesthouse, 9-bedded Stanley guesthouse, and 6-bedded Wells guesthouse. These secluded units offer privacy and considerable comfort for its guests.
Most of the bedrooms within these guesthouses come with en-suite bathrooms at Satara. The kitchens are fully equipped to allow guests the independence of self-catering to suit the relaxed pace of their holiday while the verandas of the Rudy Frankel and Stanley guesthouses have the added advantage of overlooking a waterhole, where animals come down to drink.

There are 10 Guest Cottages at Satara Rest Camp, 1 sleeping 5 guests and 9 sleeping 6 guests. The 6-bed cottages feature well-equipped kitchens, 2 bedrooms with 3 beds each. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath. The kitchen has a gas stove with an oven, a combination fridge/freezer, sink, crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils.
Camp Sites
For more budget conscious or guests who like to sleep under the African sky, there are 88 camp sites at Satara Rest Camp with power points and 15 camp sites without power points available for camping or caravans.
Guests can make use of the communal ablution and cooking facilities. Additional facilities include electric hotplates, 24 hour boiling water and washing up facilities. A maximum of 6 guests is allowed per site.
