Tambo Airport to Kruger Park Leave Johannesburg early this morning to start your romantic and secluded honeymoon package with your loved one. You can do some sightseeing en-route or just drive there directly as it is only about 4 hour’s drive from Johannesburg. You will be served a welcome drink upon arrival which is just one of the small things that this Honeymoon Safari Lodge offers to make you feel special with personal attention. There is time to familiarize yourself with the lodge surroundings and check-in to your room which is private with impressive views of the riverbed. High tea is served just before your first afternoon game drive and then you return to the lodge for a pan-African dinner under magnificent Tamboti trees out in the open. Tonight why not unwind together in the big claw-foot bath or maybe take an outdoor shower surrounded by all the amazing nocturnal sounds that you will only hear in the African bush. Day 2: Lodge in Kruger National Park You have a full day on safari at this lovely honeymoon accommodation, being spoiled by lodge staff and spending some quality time with your loved one. The daily safari program will start with an early morning game drive as this is the best time for spotting wildlife. After a hot brunch which is served back at the lodge, the rest of the afternoon is at leisure. You can cool off in the swimming pool, marvel at the views from your wooden deck or spend time on the shaded patio overlooking the waterhole, sipping cocktails together. On the afternoon game drive, your guide will stop at a waterhole where sundowners are served…there is truly nothing more magical than a huge bright red sun setting over the horizon.
