Day 1: Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport to Greater Kruger Park
This beautiful Honeymoon Lodge on the Sabie River is approximately 4 hours from Johannesburg and therefore perfect for a weekend break for you and your partner. After arrival at the lodge, you can enjoy the beautiful river view from your luxury tented suite.
After having some drinks on the open wooden deck it is tome for the spa. Enjoy a back, neck and shoulder massage, followed by a scalp massage and finished with a hand and foot treatment.
The 90 minute treatment will leave you both feeling calm and relaxed, ready for dinner which will be an intimate, private occasion by candlelight – a unique gourmet experience for your special holiday.
Day 2: Safari in Kruger National Park
Today will be spent on safari in Kruger National Park and you are picked up from your Honeymoon River Lodge quite early in the morning for a full day game drive. There is nothing better than seeing wildlife from an open safari vehicle and your Kruger Park guide will ensure that you have the best time ever.
He will explain everything about the wildlife and area in detail. A stop will be made in the afternoon for lunch at one of the Kruger Park Rest Camps where you can break away from the group and do your own thing for an hour or 2.
Upon return to your honeymoon accommodation, the spa staff are ready to pour you a luxurious rose-scented bath to wash away the day’s travels on safari. Reflect on a great day whilst sipping cocktails together and later enjoy a sumptuous dinner.
Day 3: Depart Greater Kruger Park for Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport
The best way of seeing the Panorama Route and Mpumalanga Escarpment is from a high up and this is exactly what you will be doing this morning on your 1 hour hot air balloon flight. After the flight, brunch will be served at a country lodge with sparkling wine in celebration of completing your first flight!
This marks the end of your romantic Kruger Park Package. You return to your lodge where you will check out and drive back to Johannesburg.
