Your African Safari Experience

Arriving at Ulusaba Private Game Reserve is likened to visiting a haven. You can stay at one of 2 lodges, Rock Lodge and Safari Lodge. Rock Lodge is perched high on a rocky hill, with all the amenities to entertain children. Safari Lodge is situated on the banks of a river and provides a haven for honeymooners.

When you arrive at the reserve, the staff will heartily welcome you and assist you with settling in. After freshening up, there will be a high tea with cakes, before you set off on the evening game drive. Your guide will brief you on some of the rules of the bush and take you to a wonderful spot to enjoy sundowners. You then get back on the vehicle and with spotlights lit, explore the African bush to spot some of the magnificent wildlife of Kruger. Wildlife to look out for include Giraffe, Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Cheetah, Rhino, Buffalo and so much more.

Back at the lodge, the kitchen team will be hard at work to prepare a mouth watering dinner. Upon arrival you will be blown away by the beautiful set-up of a glowing fire and tribal dancers, performing for your entertainment. After dinner you can sit around for a bit, digesting your food and discussing the activities for the following day. Make sure to get some good rest for the night, because the days are busy with excitement.

In the mornings, there is an early wake-up call, followed by tea and refreshments on the main patio before embarking on an African safari game activity. After a few hours in the bush, your guide will bring you back to the lodge for a delicious breakfast. After breakfast the rest of the morning into the early afternoon can be spent at leisure. Read a book, get some sleep, work-out in the gym, indulge in a spa treatment or go out on a game walk.

As the day proceeds, a lunch and a high tea will be offered, followed by the evening game drive. These are the days that you will enjoy on an African safari. You can watch Lion from your window or track Leopard from the vehicle. The amazing wildlife sightings are endless and will definitely leave you breathless.
