  • African explorer-style tented accommodation
  • Wooden game viewing deck with spotlight at night
  • Step on raised walkways while wildlife passes underneath you

Day 1: Arrive in Kruger

In the morning, you will fly from Johannesburg to Nelspruit. Upon landing you will be met by your driver who will transfer you into the Kruger National Park to your lodge. Built-in true pioneer tradition the unique camp reflects the ambience of a 19th-century naturalist's rest. Offering 4 African explorer-style tents, secretly tucked away in the bush, the camp overlooks a spectacular open plain, and game can be viewed from the swimming pool.

After arrival and a cool refreshing welcoming drink, you will settle into your comfortable safari tents. High tea is served just before the late afternoon bush walk which is your chance to come face to face with Africa's Big Five and other game species. You will spend the evening around the campfire, enjoying fabulous cuisine. You can also use the spotlight on the wooden deck to check which African wildlife is drinking at the waterhole at night.

Day 2: Feel the African soil under your feet

Feel the African soil under your feet and let your senses come alive as you set out in the early morning to discover the mysteries of Kruger Park. Let your professional guide and tracker teach you how to identify wildlife from their spoor and which plants have medicinal qualities. Satisfy the appetite you worked up during your walk with a scrumptious hearty brunch.

The rest of the day is yours to relax, read a book, catch up on some sleep, take a revitalizing dip in the pool or simply enjoy the natural sounds of Africa. Later on, another game walk will have you putting your newfound knowledge to the test in tracking spoor, and you return for an evening of more delicious bush cuisine around a candle lit dinner table with absolute tranquility around you. For a true wilderness experience guests are offered the opportunity to sleep outside on elevated wooden platforms on special request.

Day 3: First game drive

This morning another extraordinary wildlife experience is awaiting you in Kruger Park. Your guide will pick you up at the lodge for the transfer in an open safari vehicle to the next destination where you will spend the following 2 nights of your tour. This camp is the perfect place to sink back into the folds of a comfortable chair on the wooden deck where you can enjoy fantastic views of game visiting the waterhole.

The raised walkways linking the spacious rooms and main lodge allows wildlife to walk through underneath, undisturbed by mankind. The rooms provide a simple yet luxurious refuge with traditional bathrooms and revitalizing outdoor showers. After high tea, your afternoon will be spent on an extended game drive which will be your first experience with the nightlife of Kruger Park.

Day 4: In search of the Big Five

Today you will start with a safari game drive, which offers you the best opportunities to see wildlife from higher off the ground. This is the ideal way to waken all your senses whilst enjoying an unforgettable morning in the wilderness.

Have coffee and tea before you can satisfy your increasing appetite at a breakfast feast back at the safari lodge. Seize the rest of the morning to relax before lunch. The afternoon is yours to read a book, have a nap or simply enjoy the mesmerizing sounds of Africa.

After high tea you will depart on an afternoon-night game drive tracking Africa's Big Five. Cool down with sundowners in the bush before returning to your luxury lodge for a scrumptious dinner. The chef will treat you to a cuisine inspired by African flavors combined with western culinary tradition.

Day 5: One last game drive
