Location of Fitzpatricks Lodge at Jock, Southern Kruger Park

Fitzpatrick Lodge at Jock is situated on a game rich private concession in the south-western region of the Kruger National Park.

This area is renowned for its sightings of the Big Five with large herds of Buffalo and many prides of Lion. Endangered White Rhino are also often encountered on game drives. The Lodge is situated halfway between the Malelane Gate and Skukuza, and if you are driving yourself to the lodge, you need to ensure that you give yourself plenty of time, as private vehicles are not permitted on park roads after hours.

By Road

Directions to Fitzpatricks Lodge using the Malelane Gate from Johannesburg

Take the N12 to Witbank which will become the N4 Follow the N4 all the way to Nelspruit Pass through Nelspruit and continue towards Malelane About 2km (1.2 miles) before Malelane follow the signs to the Malelane Gate to the Kruger National Park Once you have entered the park and paid a fee, continue straight on the H3 road for 37km (23 miles) Turn Left at the “Jock Safari Lodge” sign Travel 3km (1.8 miles) and you are at Jocks Lodge You will park here and be taken to Fitzpatrick Lodge at Jock
