Tented Safari Package Experience
Spending time on safari in an iconic destination is the dream of many people around the world, but often the cost of the accommodation is inhibiting. For those who do not want a luxury lodge experience but also do not want to camp out in the wild, options are limited. Our Classic 3 Day Tented Safari Package is the best option available; it is led by a professional guide who will share the secrets of the wilderness of Kruger.
Spend a few days out in the beautiful bush of Kruger delighting in exciting wildlife encounters. The guide will help you track Lion or spot some of the region's amazing birdlife. In the evenings tuck into tasty meals at the camp restaurant. Fall asleep to the sounds of the bush at night.
Day 1: Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport to Kruger Park
On the first morning of the Classic 3 Day Tented Safari you will catch a flight from Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport to the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport in Nelspruit. After landing, you will meet your guide for the trip, before driving into the Kruger where your game viewing experience begins, perhaps spot a herd of Elephant or graceful Impala.
Enjoy the stories and intimate knowledge of the guide about the amazing diversity of wild and plant life. You will arrive at your Rest Camp in Kruger National Park in the late afternoon. There will be some time at leisure to go for a quick swim, purchase some gifts or beverages at the camp shop, or just strolling around the camp to stretch your legs.
In the tranquility of the dusk gather round the fire, sip on a refreshing drink and chat about the day’s sightings. Dinner will be enjoyed at the camp restaurant. Retire to your comfortable safari tent (which is pitched on a wooden platform) and fall asleep in the peace and quiet of the night.

Day 2: Kruger National Park
The early morning knock on your door signals the start of your second day on safari. After a warm cup of coffee and snack, you begin your early morning drive. An early start on safari is the perfect time to spot predators that are very active during that time of day.
Brunch will be served at a lookout point or picnic spot and then you will be off on your safari game drive again. Around Midday you will return to camp and relax during the hottest part of the day.
In the afternoon you will once again set out on a game drive, and perhaps spot an endangered White Rhino or small Steenbok. The guide will talk about the uses of the plants and the interesting history of the region, which really enhances the safari experience.

Day 3: Kruger National Park to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport
On your final morning there will be time for a couple of hours morning game drive in the hope of seeing those last few animals you have not yet ticked off your list. After a delicious brunch, your guide will drive you back to the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, where you will catch a return flight to Johannesburg.
