Your African Safari Experience

Arriving at Khoka Moya Camp, the friendly staff will assist you in getting settled in and comfortable. Once settled in, you can join the afternoon game drive activity. Once out in the wilds of the reserve, you can feel the breeze on your cheek, hear the birds calling, relax and witness the diverse wildlife species.

In the early mornings you warm your hands with a hot drink before setting out in search of the wildlife once again. The rangers unfold the awakening bush on foot or game viewing vehicles. Once more you stand in awe of the savage beauty of the African bush, the Big Five and other creatures great and small.

The afternoons are spent at leisure, reading, rummaging through the books in the library or drifting off into a peaceful sleep. But, after lunch the adventure starts all over. The rangers are experts of the bush and know what they are doing. Ready to assist you with any question and helping you feel welcome in this reserve.

One of the highlights of the camp is the children program. Khoka Moya does not only welcome children, but has also created a program whereby children can also get the same enjoyment as their parents. While parents can enjoy 3 - 4 hour game drives. There are shorter game drives for the young ones. Children can go on walks around the camp with the rangers, learning about the wildlife, plants and the ecosystem of the reserve.

Children can also enjoy their African safari with bead work, cookie making, drawing and reading and learning about the bush. Fun menus have been created for children so that they may also enjoy their dinner times.
