Pilanesberg Elephants Heading Back Home

Kruger Park News Archive

On the late afternoon of November 7, 2005, eight of the burnt Pilanesberg elephants were heading back to the Pilanesberg National Park.

They are all that remains of the original 15 animals that were rescued from a fire in the Park. They will be kept in bomas until the Park greened up enough for them to be released.
