Walking Safaris at Plains Camp
At the lodge guests can explore the 12000ha private wilderness area in the Kruger National Park. The focus is primarily on walking safaris. After a quick cup of tea or coffee in the morning you will head out into the bush with an armed ranger, having exciting encounters with wildlife including anything from antelope to prides of Lion and Rhinos.
Return to the camp for a midday siesta and relax with a book from the library and watch to see what animals come down to drink at the waterhole – perhaps, Giraffe, Zebra or Buffalo. In the late afternoon you will head out on a game drive or another bush walk. There will be time for sundowners, before returning to camp for a sumptuous safari inspired dinner.
Sharing a common boundary with famous Mala Mala Game reserve for 14km (8.7 miles) is a sure indication that you will see an abundance of game on their Kruger Park safari and suggested itineraries. For a unique experience, you can choose to sleep out under the stars, in a comfortable bed situated on a custom built platform, allowing you to experience nature at its best.
