Named after the most famous African elephant, ‘Shawu’, This bull had the longest tusks ever recorded in South Africa and roamed the valley for sixty years.

Camp Shawu is situated in the well known Kruger National Park on 15 hectares of private consession. This secluded safari camp features 5 elegant twin rooms which sleeps 10 guests. Each room has its own private patio.

Game drives are also available. Guests can join one of the game drives and keep an eye out for Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Hippo, Crocodile, Buffalo and Rhino. Alternatively, enjoy a drink at the bar while watching the sun set over the African bush.
