The Mazinyane pre-school in Lillydale B hosted a function for the villagers and the school's founder, Marianne Schaubeck.

The function helped create awareness of the 'Big Five' to the villlagers. Marianne said, "The Big Five has done a lot for Kruger Park, and there is more to come." Luzile Khoza, the pre-school principal, also praised the Big Five.

"The Big Five is about to bring smiling faces to the football stars when the 2010 World Cup is hosted in South Africa."

Marianne donated money and raised funds in Canada to build the pre-school. Previously the children were taught in the church.

The youth choir performed at the event, singing songs about nature, as well as expressing their love and thanks for Marianne in song. Marianne promised to pass their thanks on to her fellow Canadians when she returned home. She also promised to come back to help the villagers build a clinic as soon as possible.
