Golfing for the school
The first of two annual golf days in support of Skukuza Primary School took place on May 31, and brought in more than R20 000 for the school. Wean Strydom’s four ball (KPMG) won the day. The competition ran over 27 holes with the golfers exposed to three formats of the game in one competition. The first nine was competed in a four ball alliance format, the second nine was an American stableford format with one score to count. The golfers completed the third nine holes in the American scramble format. Closest to the pin on Overall winners of the day were Wean Strydom and his team from KPMG. The day was well supported with the assistance of sponsors Simba, First National Bank, KPMG, Protea Hotel and JJA Joubert Dienssentrum.
