Swiss Couple Tour Africa

A swiss couple, Felix and Anita Margadant, is touring Europe and Africa on a tandem bicycle. They set off from Switzerland in June 2003 and crossed the border between South Africa and Zimbabwe at Mussina on January 15, 2005.

There South African itenerary include stops at Durban, the Wild Coast, the Garden Route and Cape Town. Countries crossed include Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Congo, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Still to visit are Mozambique, Namibia and Botswana.

The couple was on their way to have lunch at Forever Aventura Swadini Resort when the Kruger Park Times caught up with them.
