August 9, 2005 – Woman’s Day – is almost here. What’s the meaning of Woman’s Day? On Woman’s Day we honour every woman that touches our lives, community and country and the role they play in our society. A woman’s role is so easily overlooked, but what is the world without a woman? On August 9, Hoedspruit Spar will host its annual “Make a difference woman’s breakfast”. As the theme of the breakfast implies, they will give ladies in the area the opportunity to make a difference. Funds collected by this breakfast will be donated to organisations in need in the area. Last year the funds went to Frangipani School for the mentally retarded in Phalaborwa.
With distinguished guest artist and well-known motivational speaker and Gospel singer, Lisbé Visser, it promises to be an unforgettable morning. Be a “Make a difference” woman and come and enjoy the morning with us. |
