White Lion Project Moves to Free State

The Mokwalo white lion breeding project has closed down in Hoedspruit. The lions have been moved to the Free State where they will still be used for breeding. The facility was a tourist attraction cited by many accommodation establishments in the area. It sprang to public prominence during the "Lion's Den" trial after a man was thrown into one of the breeding enclosures and eaten by the lions.

The new facility is called the Barnato White Lion Breeding Project and is located just 6km outside of Kroonstad, Free State, South Africa. Bring your friends and family to meet these amazing white lions. You may be in time to feed one of the lion cubs.
