Experience It All Tour Experience
With our fully guided 7 day Experience It All Tour, come and discover South Africa’s beautiful heritage, from the beauty of the Soutspansberg Mountains and the mystique of the Venda culture to the diverse wildlife of the Kruger National Park and the incredible scenery of the Panorama Route.
Travel from Johannesburg in an open convertible 4x4 vehicle in the company of an experienced safari guide who is a mine of information on the history of the region, as well as a birding and wildlife buff. He will ensure that you have a memorable journey in the Kruger National Park.
This tour allows you to see some of South Africa’s stunning scenery and experience the Kruger National Park, as well as a safari in a private reserve. The sights and sounds of the whole journey are a truly memorable experience.
Day 1: Johannesburg – Soutpansberg
Early on the first morning of your Experience It All Tour, you will meet your friendly guide for the trip. He has extensive knowledge about the areas you are going to drive through. The journey will take you northwards through fertile fields, arid, aloe studded landscapes and beautiful mountain ranges.
In the late afternoon, you will arrive at a nature reserve in the Soutspansberg Mountains. Look out for many species of birds including Verreaux's (Black) Eagles which nest on the cliff by the lodge. Learn about the fascinating Venda culture and the legend of the “Rain Queen” while staying at this eco-friendly cultural lodge. You will spend the night in a comfortable chalet hand built by the local community.

Day 2: Soutpansberg – Kruger National Park
In the morning you will visit a traditional Venda village and learn about the fascinating myths surrounding this culture, delight in seeing their traditional dress and entertainment. After a delicious breakfast, you will head for the Kruger National Park, stopping off en route at a great market, where you can purchase delicious snacks or a memento of the trip.
Once you have entered Kruger a refreshing lunch will be laid on. Afterwards enjoy a game drive where the guide will induct you into the secrets of the bush. See Kudu or Nyala as well as Elephant and Buffalo. The region is known for its excellent birding, and is home to tropical species not seen in the rest of South Africa. In the late afternoon you will arrive at a Kruger National Park Rest Camp and have time to relax and settle in.
Gather round a crackling fire and sip on refreshing sundowners. The guide will entertain you with stories of life in the bush during dinner at the camp restaurant. Return to your chalet and fall asleep to the peaceful sounds of the bush at night.

Days 3 & 4: Kruger National Park
The next two days will follow the same rhythm. After some rusks (biscuits) and coffee the guide will load the vehicle and you will head out for a full day of exciting game encounters in the northern regions of Kruger. See playful families of Elephants or graceful Impalas browsing. Encounter prides of Lion resting in the shade of trees and doleful herds of Buffalo.
In the heat of the day, the guide will stop at one of the picnic spots and a refreshing brunch will be laid out for a bush picnic. In the afternoon you will continue your game viewing adventures passing beautiful floodplains, forests and plains. See stately Giraffes browsing or you may be lucky enough to see a Leopard. At night you will stay in one of the Rest Camps and have dinner in the restaurant.

Day 5: Kruger National Park – Private Reserve
Today you will set out on a gentle game drive, perhaps see endangered African Wild Dogs and rare Sable Antelope on your travels. You will probably see many herds of Elephant and may see Tsessebe and enjoy fantastic birding.
Leaving the Kruger National Park behind you will travel to a private reserve near Kruger. After a delicious welcoming lunch, there will be some time to relax and settle in. In the afternoon set out on a game drive with the local guides. The vehicles are allowed to drive off road and your chances of seeing all the Big Five (if you have not done so already) are good.
Cool off with a swim in the pool or relax in the comfortable lounge with a good book. Delight in a tasty meal in the boma area. Stay in a comfortable suite which has all you need to make you feel at home.

Day 6: Private Reserve – Panorama Route
In the morning after breakfast you will travel the famous Panorama Route through one of the only green canyons in the World. Take in the stunning panoramic views from the Three Rondavels and God's Window. Have a lingering picnic lunch at one of the stops and spend some time drinking in the view.
Travel onwards up the Mpumalaga Escarpment to the beautiful town of Sabie which is surrounded by picturesque forests and a beautiful waterfall. Enjoy a hearty dinner in the dining rooms before spending the night in a comfortable suite.

Day 7: Panorama Route – Johannesburg
On the final day of your Experience It All Tour, after a hearty breakfast you will travel back to Johannesburg. The journey will take you through some beautiful scenery of the Mpumalanga Highlands before passing the rolling plains of the Highveld before entering the “City of Gold” once again.
